Fxstat direct connection doesnt need u to keep ur metatrader on. You can continue ur autotrading even if your metatrader is off. In the past it was fxstat bridge connection which needed mt4 to be always on.

I thought it's already possible with FXstat IB program with FxOpen through logging in the Tradebook: https://fxopen.fxstat.com/. I think that's through the help of VPS. I'm just not sure with other broker, you would have to rent VPS.

If it's gonna be like Zulutrade, FXStat would have to partner with some brokers.

Follower point of view. Of course signal follower will be the one replicating trades.

This option already exists. on autotrade page, you can see 2 available options to connect your account as a follower and receive trades even if your MT4 not open. However, we have given the option to the users, you can either use FxStat bridge or FxStat direct connection. For FxStat direct, when you click login, a pop up will appear and allow you to select your broker sever name and add your password.

FxStat Support

Fxstat direct connection needs the investor password for it to connect. With brokers like Forex.com who provides metatrader but DOES NOT have investor password on their platform, how will fxstat directly connect to their metatrader platform that is always on?

They said that PAMM accounts are much safer than anything else. But I still have to prove that though.
