Trding is much better than that of betting because here in trading we need our good strategy and knowledge and we can make a good amount of profit with it instead of depending upon luck.

Betting requires strategy and skill as well. Also in betting on sports teams etc you are betting on the strengths of a team/individual/horse only, whereas I would say trading you are betting not only on the strength of the currency, but against other betters as well. By this I mean, if you are betting on the strength of the dollar, not only are you betting on the fundementals of the dollar, but against bankers who want to stop you out. When you are betting on a team, you are only betting on the fundementals of that team, and hopefully not with corrupt bookmakers who are fixing the game!

CFXSignals, much the trading fraternity are set against anyone suggesting that trading is the same as gambling. I've been through the mill counter-arguing that trading is very much gambling, but they fail to see how they are the same. I think it's just an image thing. Well, sitting behind a computer is very different to the guys in the pits before computers came in, and I'm sure they would have a very different opinion to those that think trading isn't gambling. The only thing traders and gamblers have control of is how much money to risk. Watching Floored made me realise just how much like gambling trading really is.

Yep, retail traders are in denial that trading is the same thing as gambling. For banks with order books who are taking orders over the phone, it is not quite gambling, because they can see the direction of the market - whether big players are buying or selling. They also need to fill orders on behalf of clients, so they are part bookmaker, part gambler, also priveleged to 'inside info.' Retail traders do not have this, and are trading probabilities based on their experiences, and largely guessing the best place to put trades.

Gambling is totally different from forex trading because in forex trading we need high quality of knowledge and experience and we also need to our patients so that we can make a good amount of profit .

Randy, it's the same with professional gambling.
Think beyond the slot machines and Las Vegas holiday suckers.

I know a couple of people who 'trade' forex to legimitise their gambling addictions. They lose a lot of money all in the name of 'trading.'

Forex is basically a business numerous individuals believe that it is a lucrative machine yet it isn't it is somewhat lucrative machine yet there is no assurance of a fruitful return constantly there is a ton of contrast among betting and forex market on the grounds that forex is relies upon your expertise experience information and learning process yet in betting these things are not powerful just karma transport you in betting.
