To improve this function, I think the signal provider needs to clarify the Minimum amount needed to follow their system.
For example on the Performance page with all the signal providers, there needs to be a specific column where the Signal Provider states the minimum capital needed.. There shouldn't be any questions after that. Also each signal provider should state this information clearly in their Desciption.
The system developer will surely give an exact formula:

To trade a lot size o 0.01 you need to have 1 $ in account for the margin of 10 pips and same way if you want the margin of 100 pips you require 10 $ and rest you can calculate accordingly if you want to open more trades or increase the lot size .

Actually the discussion is about "minimum capital required" for signal followers. It is given when u choose a signal provider. It is calculated automatically. Your concept is right if we talk abt it in general. But this topic is specific to min-capital when choosing signal provider.

capital is really very important if you have small capital you can easly have a margin call while the person you follow can make profit.if you have 100 usd but the person you follow is trading with 10000 usd his lots size maybe very big and within 10 pips your account may turn in zero.so the best way is confirm it from trader before you will follow him or her.
