Because it's a risk-free start! You get a live Forex account with real money on it — no deposit required from your side! The broker pays for your live account practice. If you make profit — you keep it, if you lose — you lose nothing.
It’s rather why not no deposit bonus? Are you losing anything? I don’t think so and in that case we should be pleased that we are not required to practice on the boring land of demo account instead we can do everything on no deposit bonuses with motivation. Right now I am trading with OctaFX broker where I get 8 dollars free no deposit bonus and that gives me extra edge to practice without getting lazy or bored, so that automatically increase my performance level.
There are hardly any legitimate brokers who offer no-deposit bonus. No deposit bonus is mostly (or may be only) offered by scam brokers so that customers register with them. A serious broker with good popularity would never offer it.
Stick to your rules
That is absolutely true Unique; it is unfortunate that most brokers having such schemes are absolutely non-reliable. This is why I rarely go for such things; I work with OctaFX broker where they have better offer in 50% bonus on deposit. It is very handy especially during news trading, at least I am aware that I can do whatever I wish instead of worrying about catch up which most other brokers have and causes major headache for anyone especially newbies.
