As for me,
A good trader is a trader that always stick to his or her plans, like taking lose when it is due, and always knows he or she cant win all the time, but always have the winning trades exceeding the losing trades i.e the sum of all winning positions, after subtracting the losing positions, u still have profits.

more objectively, I think that a good trader makes money and risk litte. Translated on a trading log is: big Gain with little DrowDown! :)

A good trader should be a quick learner. He has the ability to learn from his mistakes and is willing to learn new strategies. He should have the ability to read market in different ways.

Profitability in short run doesnt matter. A good trader always aims for the long term profit.

Stick to your rules

A good trader is actually the one who is smart. He knows how to avoid bigger losses and do not get frustrated. A good trader is obviously a profitable trader. He has a professional attitude towards trading and takes it seriously.

A profitable and disciplined trader is a good trader. A good trader is the one who can execute his successful strategies on right time.

True. Pips per trade is a good factor but we cannot judge on basis of pips alone. Scalpers and swing traders will have a lot of difference in pips but may be almost same in profit. So another factor is its profitability. Similarly drawdown is another important factor.
