I am getting really attracted to OneTrade. That is why my opinion can be biased towards OneTrade. I have opened this thread to see how others feel about it.
Which broker do u use for demo account?
Is it limited time demo or unlimited demo account?
How easy is it to register for demo account at ur broker? (Some renowned brokers ask for identity proof and then after processing of few days, you get it.)
Do you get real price or is it historical price when practicing on demo?
You can also mention anything that you think is an advantage of ur broker's demo account and anything that you think is a drawback.
After collecting ur opinions, I can evaluate if OneTrade is really better than most other brokers who provide demo account or it is similar to other brokers.

From what i personally found was that Brokers often offer demo accounts with a time limit, i.e. 2 weeks this way they can urge you to open a live account with them quickly.
Oanda, FXCM, & Gain Capital among others offer free demos...BUT most have a 30 day limit, some may require a deposit to guarentee a live account after (this is from a distant memory so would appreciate some confirmation).
im not sure about the data but FxStat offers a blender with historical data so thats irrelevant.
Having said all that I do prefer OneTrade simply because its free, unlimited and its user friendly, But it sux i cant trade live on here without going through a broker.

I'm leaning toward OneTrade as well, aside from the usability of the interface just because FxStat is not a broker there is no expected committment that comes with demos from a broker so you can use it whenever without receiving the harrassing emails asking for your feedback, go live, etc.
Also as Cheesy said a lot of the demos provided by brokers have restrictions whereas OneTrade does not, i.e. the time restricition, clients only restriciton, and there is just a lot less useless advertising so i can keep trading without having to deal with all the time wasting adverts.
Anyway to stop rambling i've ripped this list offline to further prove my point that while demos are widely provided many come with some expectations and restrictions and the lack of is one of Onetrade's key strong points in my opinion, also i noticed it is web based rather than having to download a client terminal, so another point for OneTrade is that you can do it anywhere without the cumbersome download

I've open a OneTrade demo account too but never tried it yet. Maybe I can test it one of these days. Currently, I am practicing with Gdmfx demo account. Like OneTrade, it is also at no cost.

Hi Lee you should link them to Fxstat's performance page, be interesting to keep up to date with your trades.
Is Gdmfx good? As Noob said there are sometimes the hidden expectation from the broker about going live very quickly, the advertising and time restrictions. (I noticed they arent on Noob's table:P)
Also what size is the demo account?

i was recommended LMax the other night because they do stp with very tight spreads (hence higher commission), does anyone know if they have any of these hidden features? i noticed it hasnt been mentioned yet and their main selling point for me right now is their honesty which can change/supported if anyone has had experience with them in the past.

One trade is not only better in terms of easy registeration process but also in terms of excellent charting features. Even though it is not MT4 and we cannot use any EA but overall I would rate it among top demo account platforms. I am currently testing it and placing trades. Here is a link to my performance.

Hiya, i've been using OneTrade for a while and I do agree it should be ranked among the top platforms. BUT to balance out the argument slightly, there are some features not yet available on OneTrade though I have been told by the FxStat team they are all in the pipelines.
PS. Champ do you know how to use the widget? u can set it into your signature rather than pasting the link all the time.
