Does any one here has an EA based on the fundamental (news) analysis. Of course it will be mixed with technical indicators but it should have the ability to do fundamental analysis. Maybe you want or maybe you dont want to share the EA but at least u can share some of its details. Actually I am intersted in the success rate of such EAs. In my opinion such EAs will produce much better results. So I want to make sure if anyone here especially the traders who have a good collection of EAs have such an EA.

Thankyou

I think the only working EA on the news is the Straddle approach.

I searched on google but found nothing. You can find articles but cannot find EAs. Actually fundamental analysis is done by using non-technical indicators. That is why it is hard to program such EA.

I guess you would have to plot the fundemental data such as employment yourself.  I can presume this is possible, but would need a lot of charts outside of MT4.  On lots of forexsites there is an autoplot of the fundie data, but I could not imagine having to go through every single piece of data and charting it - its enough to chart the pairs I look at already alongside correlated indices and commodoities.

But maybe an EA can take into consideration all these factors and give a signal of buying or selling. I think something like this is possible

That would be a nightmare to code -I would not know how you could code that through an EA on MT4.  You would actually need a far more sophisiticated piece of software that can assess the trends on this.  I went through a process of going through fundemental releases and noted that the intraday movement would never really consistently reflect the fundementals which would only be apparent days later.

Yes. I also think it is almost impossible to take intro consideration all fundi factors and compile into an EA on MT4. So maybe any other software can do it. This question can be best answered by a coder + trader.

The other thing of course is that how would you assess fundemental data that is just based upon rumor, and not real facts?  Rumors of rate cuts, changes in policy and political considerations that cannot be charted also affect the fundemental data - a lot of the price movement is down to rumor and could not be programmed into an EA.
