What’s the currency you hold in your forex broker account?

Well what you have mentioned above is right but it all depends on the current or prevailing exchange rate of the currency held in the account and if it was more before and less now it could be vice a versa and can be more than the rate when you invested in it .

it is a very important factor.but most of the brokers are offering only USD,EUR AND GBP .most of my accounts are USD.l also have AUD and EUR  account.it is better to keep the balance with a strong currency always.

Imagine one day 1USD will = 2 SGD, so here you will take profits! [grin]

I think USD is a safe currency, it's true that my primary currency is EUR, but  USD also suits me perfectly!

I am trading with Eur/Usd pair and i am just happy through it and i hope i will earn more money after some period of time and i am just working hard here for it and htis business is just amazing.

Go Back to the original post, it is advised against having your base currency as USD.

But I have been told to stick to your local currency because thats how you will measure profits and is what you will spend (i.e. If you're based in the Euro-zone then have the Euro as your base).
