lol in other words dont put a month's salary as your initial deposit, you'll find it hard to eat and pay rent otherwise

Right im afraid you might not just be having a hard time to eat and pay a rent, but the possibility of lossing your allocated budget for your food and payment for the rent.

in my point of view you must have invest minimum $100 in your forex account becasue you have to earn if you have $100 in your forex account otherwise you mostly face loss.

I agree, i think normally newbies start with $100-$200 USD deposit.. not much to fret over when u lose it though not much to celebrate when u gain either

A 100$ are fair enough for a newbie to start with, because i think that he must concentrate on the knowledge and experience he gains more than concentrating on just winning money,,,

I agree with this in a loose and general context, of course it also depends on how much you can afford, like i have mentioned before (cant remeber if it was this particular thread) if u cant afford a deposit trade demo and learn more while you save a deposit.... BUT do not put in i.e. you're trust fund because you should expect to lose it (though you wont hope it to)

The ideal amount of deposit a newbie has to start with would actually depends on his chosen Forex broker. Different brokers requires different trading funds to be deposited before you can open a trading account. For example in my broker GDMFX, the minimum amount needed to trade with them is 100 USD.

Just like what some of the members here said that a $100 is an ideal amount of deposit a in which a newbie has to start is just fair for me.Yes it may depend on your chosen broker the amount needed for you to start trading, but for my broker you need $100 to start and its still fair enough for me.But ofcourse if a trader can afford to have an amount more than that of what is mentioned as lng as he doesnt use its funds for his basic necessities.I think theres nothing wrong with that.

Right a $100 to start for a newbie is just fair or good enough. We cant be guaranteed to win on the very first time of our tading thou ofcourse we all want to win.But atleast we can have the experienced to trade on the actual one and feel what it is when on the live trading, not to mentioned what can we learn from our experienced in trading into live.
