Is there a PDF or a non video that tells you how to actually follow a signal provider or managed book?

Hi

I have been looking at the various autotrading options, and have taken note of the videos, but I would like an all in one instruction on how I can follow signals on the autotrade and the managed book. The videos are slightly confusing and was wondering if there was a simpler way.

The stage I am at: I have some signal follower credit, and have my own MT4 account. I have downloaded the FX copy bridge and the tradebook bridge. I have typed in my account number under autotrading. I have installed the executable into the MT4s so they sit under my expert advisors. I have then attempted to add my username and fxstat password into the FX copy and it doesn't seem to work. I have tried adding the license on my autotrading section to the tradebook bridge and the message at the top left hand side of the screen reads 'starting' for over 10 minutes.

I have watched the videos re: adding the strategies but I'm not at that step yet. I've also watched the platform and dashboard guide but again, its not really helpful at my stage. I also have no idea how to activate the managed book as a signal follower. I usually can follow these things quite easily but this has left me flummoxed.

I would be glad for any assistance for any signal follower users who have navigated through this.

Hi,

I will try to give you a step by step on here but just out of curiousity which broker are you with?

Firstly as a PAYG client you can only use TB, if you provide the name of your broker I can find out if they are on the list of brokers currently partnered with FxStat and whether it can provide it through them.

If not (and your broker is not willing to provide this service after FxStat have contacted them) I can provide you with some names of alternative brokers which provide Managedbook for you to have a look at.

Hope this helps!

I am with xemarkets. I think that the brokers work for tradebook, but managed book it is restricted to swissquote, varengold and a saudi broker that I can't recall.   On another point I was looking around more and came across an account that I wanted to follow on tradebook - unfortunately it regularly trades 22.5 lots / 5 lots. If I use the fixed lot standard I don't get the money management, yet if I trade 10% of the size I will be trading 2.25 lots for 100+ pip stops which will rapidly blow my account. Is there another way to trade smaller lot sizes in this case mirroring the money mangement?

edit - I've now attached my account to a VPS, installed the tradecopy bridge, placed the licensekey - the EA reads tradebook starting with a smiley face -isn't it supposed to get going at some point? I may try it with a demo account on another provider.
