Trading Style (Swing VS Scalping)
Hi all
I have a simple but stupid question to all of you.
In my mind all the retail traders like you and me have just two trading syles.
1.swing (big pips, less stress ...less time on pc watching screen)
2.Scalping(litle pips,big stress in my point of view and watch screen whole day )
so my question is that which style you use and why.

I use both but more probably I'm a scalper cause I find it easy and has more probability of winning that's why some other brokers don't allow scalpers since some brokers compete with traders. lol

Maybe I'm a Swing Trader...because I try to get big pips or medium profit pip (20-50 pip).
I like my trading style because its less stress....and worthed compared than all spread charged by broker.
yup in scalping with big lot you get good money but not pips and you are calculated the pips in the end not dollors and yes we need to be good in pip gaining and dollors will increse as our pips increses

I use scalping style. Its coz I have low capital and want to earn dollars. So in swing style I maybe able to get pips but not big dollars. But if you talk about likeness, I like swing trading. Its really comfortable. If I am able to get big capital, I will surely try to learn about swing trading.
hmm nice to hear about your points dear ........ yes mostly scaplers have this issue thats why they choose scalping same like you dear.

Different traders use different trading styles based on their skills and abilities and what they are good at and out of swing trading and scalping I do not like either of them but then if given a choice to choose among the two I would go for swing trading .
I think scalping is best and i am doing it since a long time and i think we can make a good profit about 20-30% profit a month through it but we need to be more attentive on the market to make this much profit.
Well i do scalping and i am just happy through it because it is really very profitable to me and i can able to make some good profit but we have to be more careful while scalping.
As a newbie, do scalpers trade using Stop Losses or not? If so, I can understand that, if not, how do you limit your downside and losses?
Someone please help and explain. Much appreciated.
