Hi everyone,
As mentioned on our Facebook and Twitter page We'd like to know whether you know what kind of trader you are, and also why this is. For any new traders on here dont worry if you're not sure, the link below will tell you what kind of trader you are.
The aim of this discussion is to find out the most common type of trader on FxStat, why, and also for everyone to socially mingle and network with each other. (FYI i tend to be a hybrid of trend and counter trend trader, because i like to think i can predict the trends...) Probably why im still a rookie and yet to be a profitable, any veteran traders reading this I would love to hear from you with some advice! >puppy eyes<

Yes you're right and you have to come up with a good "risk management"plan.Demo account is good way to practice that.

Yes lots are saying that forex is very risky, thats why we need a risk management although this is hard to control even if we study/learn the importance of risk management.

Risk management is definitely a must, especially since i tend to be a mix of day and counter-trend trader.. If i wrongly assumed a trend was about to end and i invested a large amount of capital i would cry a lot of the times if S/L wasn't there

Scalper!!!!! get in/out quick and dirty! means risk is manually reduced and i can pull out when things go south, and i can stay as much as i want when things go north!
Of course its important to be a calm scalper though, no point if you're anxious by personality though bcause trades always start negative and creep upwards... its particularly annoying when its dancing on breaking even.
