Does it sound weird to u? Because market is either trendy or ranging.

But the reality is that a market can be both ranging and trendy at the same time. So what it takes to identify trend? Do u need any special skills? NO u dun need any special skills.

What actually happens in ranging market? Price moves between a certain tight range. If u dun want to miss opportunity and want to be a little aggressive and brave to trade in this market then the only way is to move to shorter timeframe as it will identify trends.

So u will be able to see clear trends in a range-bound market as u move to shorter timeframes.

Thx for sharing. Interesting concept.

But isnt it difficult to switch timeframes? For example a swing trader cannot trade like a scalper or even day trader in some cases.

Range-bound market is usually in a very tight range so it is hard to trade even at lower timeframes. I dun think it is practically possible. For example I look at daily, 4 hour and 1 hour timeframe to analyze trend. I define entry and exit position based on either hourly or 4 hourly timeframe. So if market is range-bound in either hourly or 4 hour timeframe then I will simply quit because I will never feel comfortable in trading with 5 minute timeframe.

I think trading is possible on any timeframe as long as u can identify trends. The only difference will be in SL and TP. In shorter timeframe u wont be able to grab high pips.

In my opinion this strategy is for aggressive traders.

It is not just "aggressive" but "over-aggressive". In my opinion, if u do not feel comfortable and u r not able to trade with ur usual successful strategy, u shouldnt trade because u will not be able to make right decisions.

Exactly. This is my point. Trader will not feel comfortable in trading if he doesnt use his usual strategy.

Having an aggressive approach towards trading is not bad as long as it doesnt look like haste. So if you can differenciate between haste and aggression, you can apply aggressive systems and strategies in ur trading.

I agree with jogi. There is nothing wrong in being aggressive as long as u r profiting and predicting market with high probability.

At last I have some buddies who agree with this system :D. Even though this system is not "created" by me but I have customized it a lot. Idea behind this system is exactly what u guys r talking abt. You need to be a little aggressive if u want to trade with this system.
