Portuguese bond yields going higher
Portuguese 10-year bond yields are getting close to record levels reached in November, according to the international media. Although the euro zone debt fears that weighed heavily on euro have eased lately due to signs that the bloc is heading towards an agreement on strengthening the region's rescue fund (EFSF), the peripheral bond yields have failed to tighten their spread against German yields. Euro zone leaders haven't manage to reach solid conclusions on the reform package during latest talks. The Portuguese 10-year bond yield rose on Wednesday to 7.36%.
