NOTE:- I dont have any system or anything to sell. This discussion is just to see how much people are willing to spend on forex.

Scam is now becomming common in forex. Most of the newbies get attracted to buy EAs, systems and strategies which do not work often.

An idea came into my mind to ask the traders here.

How much you can spend if someone offers you a successful system.

The system can be books, EAs, any strategy, mentor services, webinars, special courses or anything that can contribute in success.

How much will you pay for such stuff?

Please select one of the following

Pay nothing
$100
$250
$500
$1000
Above $1000

If a REAL successful system, then a lot of money. If it REAL works in a long run.

But since it does not exit, guarantee does not exist, I wouldn't make any statement!:)

Keep it simple stupid

you r talking about an ideal situation. But considering this scenario, Richde is right. People will pay anything for this system. So if this ideal situation exists then my option is "Above 1000".

If you ask me in real world then "Pay nothing" :D)[cool]

At the moment I would say that I am not willing to pay a single cent for those kinds of materials online.

One of the major reasons is that there is much more free info available than I can absorb.

I cannot invest much in forex, that is why there is a limit to what I will spend on such material. The problem is I cannot spend this money on webinars and other study material coz they are available for free online as Checkdavid said. But if its some sort of EA or any easy-to-follow strategy then I may spend some amount on it. The problem is no one will sell a successful system at low price.

a bit tricky situation. how much would anyone pay for such stuff depends on many factors. these factors can be

--> cash in hand
--> Current level of experience
--> Brain level
--> Thinking abt forex

If you have a lot of cash in hand, you may spend a part of it on such stuff. Secondly, if you r a newbie then you may be one of those traders who consider forex as "get-rich-quick" scheme. So a new trader is most likely to pay high amount for such stuff. The trader's own brain will play an important role. Last thing is how you think about forex. Do you think it will generate enough money for your living? Maybe you have another very good source of income. If latter is the case then you will not want to spend any high amount to purchase forex material.

I didn't mind spending any amount and the most important is wonder it works.

Pay per trade model like what FXStat is one great option. You give what you see and get.. and after a few trade if it didn't bring result.. then stop.
This is better as compare to those selling at $XX for a EA.

Having say that, however i have also get into a managed account in which they charge performance based only fees. Every month they take 30% of the profit. Starting is good but at this point, they will blow the account and then using the same performance based promises.... they lure in newbies... and blow more account along the way.

Pay per trade model will be my preferred Model and i do not mind spending even $1,000 as well as it delivery what it promise. You all agreed?

Not even a dime, never have i and never will i, why should you sell a system that's giving you $$$$ like snow? until Bill gates sell part of his money earning business, i dont see why another trader should sell his "winning" system if truly its winning and i also don't see why you another trader should buy when you know "NOTHING" in this market can gurantee you profits all the time.

I would prefer if they would have a demo first that will create real favorable and impressive results. Then I will withdraw the profit and will use it to pay for that system.  lol...
