hmm. But I look at it the other way. That Emotional factor is the problem in following the plan. In the start traders normally stick to the plan, but after some losses, their emotions start controlling them. At this point they will deviate from the plan.

That just means that they either:

A) Don't believe the plan works.

B) Don't understand about forex.

This kind of problem only happens to newbies.

100% agree with you. Because these factors do not effect on Pros. Only newbies are effected who do not know how to make a good plan or their plan do not work. They do not know about forex.

And appart from this, I think there is a problem, it is that emotions are seen as a cause rather than the effect, no one ever thinks about it or what?

There are tooooooooooooo many articles on this "emotions" thing. So readers see it as some "monstrous" problem.

Actually emotions are directly related to forex trading. Whether its an effect or a cause, different debate. The main article by asiaforexmentor is which factors can effect our trading. I think its true that emotional factor is one of them. Normally people do not consider it a factor effecting our trades which is wrong.

Hide your open positions, and look at only the chart. With this way emotions can be avoid (at least it is easier to avoid). I know it's hard but it would definately increase the level of trading!

Keep it simple stupid

BUt then he is fully aware of his positions entry points, therefore he knows his loss....

Well, but maybe the trick does not lie in there... you are the expert here [devil]
