Anyone have a favorite strategy and timeframe that they wouldn't mind sharing?

I have had mixed results with Tradestation. But there seems to be something I'm not quite getting.

hmm. There r a number of strategies available on forums. If you can show your account results then users may share their ideas and give suggestions. Can u link ur account here on fxstat?

I have been in Forex for about a year. I have had terrible results. I have tried every system known to man, mainly EAs on MT4. I am looking for a good signal provider and professional to bring consistent results daily, almost like a scalper with no overnight/weekend positions. I will look for medium and long term trades later. But for now I'm trying to stay above water. I have had mixed results with Tradestion, better for stocks than Forex. I like the platform, but it take s lot of time to master. My manual trading is very good for scalping, but again, that takes up my whole day...and I need a site like this in order to have a life. :) Any advice would be appreciated.

It is not advised to use strategies of others. Actually you can take ideas from forums and websites. But you must try to learn market movements on ur own. I am not saying that other strategies r total failure but the fact is that they only work for those who made them. So it is good to take idea and not the whole strategy. Similarly most of the EAs out there r scam or unprofitable.

you have already spent more than 1 year. So I think u will have good knowledge and maybe more practice can bring success.

Well stated Sasha. That's a very empowering outlook, and I will adopt it.
