There have been many many EA discussions and most participants of those discussions say that those EAs do not work for them and a few say that a few EAs work but only for limited time.

We also talk about customizing an EA. I am here to take your opinion on customization of an EA. Have u ever customized an EA? If yes, how good was that?

i used to work with the EA managed by other programmers to helps with the analytics. and to add more with the feature to improves the results with the performance. that should be made to arrange the work with for example the periode of sessions to left EA to work or to stop working to open new position when a number of the closed pips had been made.

How good were those EAs? Did you trade with any of those EAs?

slight customization is not a big task as long as you r a beginner level programmer. But to any signification change requires good developing skills. Usually, as three7 said, more than 1 person is involved in development of an EA. There will only be a few experienced traders who r also experienced developers because it requires high level of concentration to become either of these.

I have tried EA development using EA maker websites and it is quite easy. I dun think you need any expert level developing experience to make an EA now. But I am not a big fan of using technical indicators as I prefer Price Action strategies so my EAs were never successfull :D

I have also noticed that with more experience, most traders tend to rely more on PA and less on TA. EA development websites and softwares have made it a lot easier to build an EA but customizing an EA is still a difficult task as most of these softwares wont allow you edit an EA.

Arent you offending Technical analysts? Mathematics is most logical science and no one can deny that. Every technical indicator has a success history.
