No it is not autotrading, in autotrading, all you have to do is to follow a signal provider, and add the signal provider to your portfolio, and whenever the signal provider, opens a position it will be automatically reflected to your account.

 

While copy trade will be that specific trade that you copied only.

Copy trading is also known as social trading i think it is best to think of auto-trading as do not need to worry about it at all, Social/copy trading is semi automatic, here you can copy others but will have to close it yourself, and manual trading is the traditional way of opening and closing yourself.

I havbe not opened any trade yet but I have opened account and as soon as trading resumes on Monday, I will start trading on it. Hopefully I will be one of best performers here.

That would be very interesting, is there a page where people can sign up for a OneTrade trading competition? I've been in a bit of a slump recently and i think a little competitive pressure and networking would be a great help to get out of the slump!
