maybe we should add a "watchlist" button next to the trader's name in the performance page

There is already a watchlist button, on performance page, just above the graph.

I know, i meant that the same button above the graph to be next to the performer's name in the Performance search page

I agree with this suggestion. It will be much easier to add to watchlist if we have a button next to each performance on performance page.

I dont think users will ever attach a performance by looking at just performance list page. Detailed performance page is always reviewed before deciding if we want to add a performance to watch list or not. So I dun think watchlist shortcut will be of any help or use.

Illiterate made a good point. Unless we analyze performance by going to detailed performance page, we r not going to add it to watchlist. So having a watch button outside detaild performance page will rarely be used.

It looked like a good idea at first as it provides shortcut to add a performance to watchlist. But illiterate made a good point and now I am also of the view that having watchlist button on performance list will not be of any use.

We need to analyze the performance at the beginning, when we get too know the user. but when we already know everything about them it will become kind of tedious having to go to several performance pages each time I want to make a comparison group. it would be a lot easier if I can do it on the search screen directly

This is exactly what I was thinking when I supported ur suggestion. If we already know about a performance, we wont need to go to performance page again to analyze it.
