If a person is relying on technical indicators in forex trading. Should he use his Sixth-sense to enter or exit trades? or just take instructions from indicators?

What is the role of ur Sixth_Sense in ur trading?

I think sixth-sense can lead to unfavorable results if u use it in forex when real money is involved. When technical indicators r in favor of a trade then u just have to see trend or u can perform more analysis but relying on sixth-sense is not a good idea.

But some people believe in it. They trust their sixth-sense more than indicators. But u r right it can lead to bad results coz with real money there is a high probability that our emotions get in our way and sixth-sense stops working :D.

Why not sixth-sense? indicator is just one method to analyze market. Fundamental is another method. Price Action is considered to be most powerful method and in PA u use ur sixth-sense a lot.

You can try this ability while practicing and if ur sixth sense is working then u can try on real but I agree with ironical that emotions will get in ur way while real account trading.

I am o f the view that it is ur natural ability. You cannot get it by practice. But u can test it as u said. While trading with real money, stress level is high and fear of loss usually gets in our way. This is why it is hard to rely on sixth-sense unless we can control our emotions.

If u r good in technical analysis then why sixth-sense? If u r not good in technical analysis then relying on sixth-sense means u r actually gambling.

In some cases (other than trading) sixth-sense plays magical role (even under stress conditions). In case of forex, Price Action strategy is based on ur common sense and sixth sense. You analyze naked chart and make ur decisions.

I think PA is based only on common sense. Because irrespective of ur trading style, u keep receiving false signals from ur brain. If u r in loss ur brain will say "STOP, do not close trade. Market will reverse". If u r in profit it will say "Hurry up, bank the cash". With so many false signals, how will u know if ur sixth sense signal is actually righ or wrong.

I think sixth-sense can cause to undesirable outcomes if u use it in currency trading when real cash is engaged. When specialized signs r in support of a business then u just have to see pattern or u is capable of doing more research but depending on sixth-sense is not a wise decision.
