Yes , trading is matter of skill...especially for us as retail trader who need to follow market movement.......and its almost all Technical.

Skill to understand Fundamental is important, but i guess its only for BigBoy who can move the market.

There are many factors affecting forex, especially now, that the forex world is in a, somewhat, turbulent situation. This is, for me, where skills are much needed.

Oh yes! Too right. There are so many ways of trading just like many other things. The problem is, it so easy to migrate from one strategy to another without giving the prior strategy time to mature. In that sense too much education can be distracting, especially if it comes from different sources. Sometimes it is best to learn something simple and then tweak it to fit your personality and appetite for risk.

I used to get several indicators loaded up MVAs, DNCs, loads of things, a rainbow of colour. It was just confusing and there was no synergy between the indicators. My charts look much clearer now.

I scrapped trading on a demo as there is not consequence to demo trading, also no gains when they are made in the virtual world. Trading a live account soon after education is the way to go in my opinion. I think people trading on a demo account risk free, will not trade the same way when they start trading and losing their real money. Of course, a demo account is a safe environment, but that's just the point. The FOREX market isn't safe.

Trading on demo is also risky......risky to wasting our time if we do it wrong..........We have to trade on demo like we trade in real, use smallest virtual money....better also put demo statement in FXSTAT,,,after that we can see ourself, how good we trade.......if we can loose money in demo, we also can loose money in real........If we loose money in real account dont blame broker, blame ourself because can not read market...

Demo Account = 100% Real Account

I agree forex market is not safe, coz every thing can happen,,,,,,we can loose some money or even totally bankrupt in an hour or days........so technical skill and MM is everything.

and also dont forget rule: Learn it properly by watch the detail............

the detail is correlation between price with TF, indicator and time.

If we learn incorectly, we will just throw our time, could be months or years......

Just by reading books and studying you cannot increase your skill level.

So develop your skills by practicing as much as you can. These skills will help you become a better trader.

nice words dear thats why all brokers give you demo account to trade and become expert in your strategy and skills then appply these skills on the real account.

By practicing regularly and seriously a realistic and systematic trading, the trader refines its strategy and is steadily increasing its capital. The novice trader must make a distinction between professional trading, or full-time and part-time trading.
