Your feeling also define ur trading skill level.

For example if u feel extra happy and extra frustrated when u make profit or when u loose, it means u r still a novice. If u feel satisfaction after making profit but dun feel much frustration after loosing, then u have entered into "Pro level world".

So share ur true feeling and know ur true trading skil level.

Who doesnt like profit? Who likes Loosing?

Reaction is obvious but intensity may differ. To some extent, I do agree with you that intensity of reaction tells ur skill level. A trader with 5 years of experience has seen profits and losses throughout his trading life of 5 years and a normal profit or loss may not be very "exciting" for him. But unusual profit or loss will definitely have significant impact on him.

For newbie, with "profit dream", loosing is obviously very frustrating because he is not prepared for it. If he makes profit, he will definitely celebrate because he has successfully fulfilled his dream.

Stick to your rules

I do feel good after profitable week (and bad after loosing week) but I do not care much about daily trading results as I analyze my profits and losses on weekly basis.

I think it is better to check average profit as it reflects true performance.

Anything above or below "expectation range" will obviously change mood. Profit above expectation range will cause excitement and below expectation range will cause frustration.

It is hard to control inner feeling and emotions. But they are automatically adjusted with time. For a novice trader, each winning trade will cause excitement and each loosing trade will cause add to frustration. But with passage of time, his reactions will change from trade-level to day-level results and then to week-level results and so on.

Some of the lines I liked in above posts.

1- Reaction is obvious but intensity may differ

2- Anything above or below "expectation range" will obviously change mood.

Nothing much to say about it as I do agree with above statements.

About my feeling ---> I feel good, not ecstatic though.

During profitable trading days, it just feels good to sleep.

During non profitable days, just fine I do not take big risks.

Everything just seems fine as long as there is no margin call :)

A good trading day improves your confidence that you are doing better and gaining more experience, and of course it feels great to make more profits.

the best thing about winning is that you feel happy that you have accomplished something good not just the money!!!

but .. no need to frustrate yourself after losses because you can't do anything about it  >> whats' done is done after all you can't help it just try to learn from your mistakes to do better next time
