Atm, I dont see much need for it. I have participated in some big forex forums. A few of them have subtopics but others do not have. Actually It doesnt make much difference.

the admin can have some ideas from mt5.com or indian-forex.com .these two forums are based on forex.and all the topics are very easy to find and to follow.but here seems everything is mixed.we can have general converstion, forex for beginners and newbies.strategies, news or fundamentals.forex e-books,EA'S.AND MOST IMPORTANT  we need some moderators to arrange them.and adding a live cha can also make the forum very active.

Actually it also depends on how big and old a forum is. Maybe in future fxstat will also think about creating subtopics when the forum activity will increase.

I also see no need for subtopics at this time. It will only increase spam.

I think subtopics will make forum more organized. But I also agree that it can increase spam. With good moderation, chances of spam will be reduced.
