Hello friends.

I was wondering if you like reading forex related news and economic events around the world or just trade based on technical factors?

I like reading news from different sources but follow bloomberg the most. Which source do you like the most?

Twitter has really been a good source for many investors. Even though I do not follow it much but still I believe that it provides timely information if you are following right people.

I read news from blogs and some popular websites like bloomberg and reuters. I have also heard about some mobile apps and services that provide you with latest news events.

I prefer technical analysis over fundamental analysis because I mostly trade currencies. BUT I know that fundamental factors can have significant impact so I try to avoid trading during important economic events.

Even though, as I said, I read financial and forex news from different sources but I rarely include them in my trade analysis. I read them because I find them interesting to read. I am now trying to minimize technical and fundamental analysis by replacing it with Price Action.

When trading currencies, fundamental analysis is important but not as important as when trading commodities and stocks. I do not trade stocks or commodities so I read financial news just because they are interesting to read. Eventually I will start trading commodities and stocks, then I will need timely financial news from these sources.

One thing I was thinking about is "Time" we give to trading. Time is a big factor when it comes to fundamental analysis. I think fundamental analysis is only for Swing traders and not day traders.
