Once I tried scalping strategies on my demo account but faced a problem many times. During the fast trading times, it is almost impossible to place orders or exit trades at the right time. Is it because of my internet connection or broker? I even tried a different broker but same thing happened. This issue can badly affect scalping.

Does any of you face this issue? if yes then what you do?

I have tried scalping but I faced the same issue. You can never get exact Entry and Exit points when market is highly liquid. Sometimes my platform even hangs and shows changes after 2 to 3 seconds which matter a lot while scalping. I think everyone has this problem.

Stick to your rules

For scalpers, this is one of the very big unavoidable disadvantage. Maybe an EA could solve it to some extent. Coz an EA can execute orders fastly as compared to human. The EA should be customized fully according to scalper's need. Your internet and your pc should be speedy. You can minimse this thing but cannot remove it totally

Not unsolvable. But a good scalper can tell you. Because every beginner scalper will be facing this problem. But an experienced scalper can tell you how to tackle it.

If you faced this via demo account, there must be some problems with your internet connection or/and your PC. At demo account clients never get a requote or slippage because the position is not introduced towards the broker, so it could instantly executed. With normal fx brokers at demo accounts every trade opening/closing must have happened in that very sec.

It might be also possible you consecutively tried with scam brokers who don't have the technical requirements, and who is providing a very slow feed.

At live forex accounts slippages always happen even if you are at a very good and honest broker, you cannot avoid it and as a scalper you have to get used to it. At ECN brokers it's all different but they require a higher minimum deposit size.

Keep it simple stupid

dear if you are new in trading then scalping is not for you in my view bcs in demo we mostly cant get the requotes bcs of the demo account is not attach with real server and it give the moslty the same price but in real account you face this problem more than the demo account and scalping is what you think is good for you as compare to swing trades then i think you must scalp at least for 5 to 10 pips as minimum and 15 pips maximum sl.

The best close order is to set TP,,,,,because its already set in server....

Requote usually happen when internet connection is bad or theres high impact news,,,,if news like NFP happen, its almost impossible to close order,,,,,,because I heard when NFP happen, price show is not actual price,,,so thats why sometime not easy to close.

So if you scalp when price move fast, it might you trade on news.

During the high impect news like NFP the price move 5 to 15 pips up and down in normaly and in spark more than 50 to 80 pips and that is a point or time when you get more requotes.

but in some cases if your broker has low speed or high load in there server you also face many requotes in normal time also
